Water safety is personal. That's why I treat every child like family.
My journey into water self-rescue began more than 13 years ago when I became an ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) certified instructor. I saw firsthand how these critical skills could save young lives, and I knew this would become my life's work.
Since then, I've taught swim lessons across three countries -- Texas, Australia, and California -- working with hundreds of families and children ranging from 6 months to 6 years old. Every pool, every family, and every child has deepened my understanding of what it takes to keep kids safe around water.
I hold a Master's degree in Human Behavior and Cognition, which gives me a unique edge in the pool. I understand how young children learn, how they process fear and confidence, and how to adapt my approach so every lesson builds real, lasting skills -- not just comfort in the water.
I'm also certified in Autism Aquatics, meaning I provide adaptive, inclusive instruction for neurodiverse children. Every child deserves the chance to learn water safety, and I tailor my methods to meet each child exactly where they are.
As a bilingual instructor fluent in English and Spanish, I'm able to connect with more families across North County San Diego and make sure nothing gets lost in translation when it comes to your child's safety.
I come to you. All lessons take place at your home pool, one-on-one, in the environment where your child is most comfortable -- and most likely to encounter water on their own.
